  • B2B Data Providers: Professional contact information sourced from legitimate third-party data providers
  • Public Sources: We only collect information from lawful, public, or client-provided sources.
  • LinkedIn: Professional contact information obtained through LinkedIn's terms of service
  • Campaign Data: Email engagement metrics, response rates, and campaign performance data
  • Technical Data: IP addresses, browser information, and usage analytics for service improvement

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information strictly for the following purposes:

  • Executing outbound cold email campaigns on behalf of our clients
  • Performance reporting and campaign optimization
  • Compliance monitoring and quality assurance
  • Customer support and service delivery
  • Legal compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Service improvement and platform development

We do not use personal data for marketing our own services to the individuals in your target lists, nor do we sell personal data to third parties.

4. Data Sources & Ownership

Client Role: When you provide leads or target specifications, you act as the data controller and are responsible for ensuring you have the legal basis to process and share this data with us.

Provider Role: For leads we source independently through B2B data providers, public websites, and LinkedIn, Modern Inbound may act as a data controller, ensuring compliance with applicable privacy laws.

All campaign data and leads are stored securely in sales engagement tools, where clients maintain admin access during their active subscription period.

5. Data Retention

Campaign Data: We retain campaign data indefinitely as proof of work performed and for compliance purposes. This includes email sequences, engagement metrics, and performance reports.

Lead Data: Personal contact information is retained for the duration of active campaigns and may be retained longer for compliance and legal purposes.

Transfer Limitation: Campaign assets and data are not transferred to clients unless explicitly agreed upon in writing and additional fees are paid. Clients receive access to campaign results and reports through our platform.

6. Data Security

We implement platform-level security measures including:

  • Encryption of data in transit and at rest
  • Access controls and authentication systems
  • Regular security monitoring and updates
  • Secure hosting infrastructure through trusted providers

While we implement robust security measures, we cannot guarantee absolute protection against all external security breaches. Clients are responsible for maintaining the security of their own systems and access credentials.

7. Data Sharing & Subprocessors

We may share data with trusted subprocessors under strict confidentiality agreements:

  • Platform Providers: Sales engagement tools and other campaign management platforms
  • Hosting Services: Cloud infrastructure providers for secure data storage
  • Analytics Tools: Performance monitoring and reporting services
  • Compliance Services: Legal and regulatory compliance support

All subprocessors are contractually bound to maintain data confidentiality and security standards equivalent to our own.

As a global service provider, we may transfer data across international borders. All cross-border transfers are conducted using:

  • Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by relevant authorities
  • Adequacy decisions where applicable
